H.E.L.P., Inc., Banning's local food pantry provides supplemental food to low-income families living in the communities between Calimesa and Cabazon. Since 1982, this nonprofit offers a shopping basket of food to qualifying families once a month. H.E.L.P., Inc. continues to be a safety net for its qualifying clients. Additionally, H.E.L.P., Inc. provides weekly food bags to those homeless who are registered. The nonprofit also operates a thrift store with beautiful gently used clothing and small household items. Clothing items that do not make it onto the floor for selling go to the area designated as the "free closet" and are offered to the clients.
If you would like to donate via check or money order, please make payable to H.E.L.P., Inc. and mail to: PO Box 996, Banning, CA 92220.
The Thrift Store welcomes donations of new and gently used clothing for men, women and children; toys; jewelry; small household and season items; bedding; linens; small antiques. We are unable to accept large pieces of furniture.
The Food Pantry welcomes donations of canned and packaged food products all having the appropriate "use by" date. Fresh fruits and vegetables are accepted as the growing season permits.

Monday -Thursday between 9AM to 1PM.
-Drive around to the back door of the building and one of our volunteers will gladly help you unload.
